Every summer we offer a number of fully NSF funded research projects (3 months). These awards are highly competitive, they provide a monthly stipend, and, for students outside CMU, some support travel and and living expenses. Eligible students (inside US only) have an excellent grade record and excellent programming capabilities. Besides ECE and CS students we also invite mathematics majors. The application period is usually early spring up to late April.
